White skirt – bought & love
Tan top – bought & love
Shoes – ehhhh not so sure.
I bought them because they’re a close match for these Prada pumps, at a huge fraction of the price. But then it begs the question – am I okay with knockoffs? Also, they were pretty cheap from Forever 21 so it’s not like they’re going to be comfortable. I don’t wear much brown, but I feel like they are such a cute summer shoe. I was shopping all alone and had no one to ask, so opinions please!

A new haircut!
I seriously love getting my hair done. From the head massage at the shampoo bowl to the girl talk and of course the fabulous blow out, it’s bliss. I always walk out of the salon feeling like a million bucks.
I had told some friends that I was getting a haircut today, and when they asked what I was getting, I would respond with “oh..chopping off six inches and dying it black” I got so many jaw drops, it was hilarious!

Of course, mere days after I post about the virtues of a good pedi, I am back in my boots.
Today was a longgg day. It started with work – which was really slow so it was extremely mind numbing. I could barely stay awake in my first class, so instead of hitting up Starbucks for some espresso, I decided to do something I haven’t done all quarter. I went home to my warm and comfy bed and took a nap.
Sometimes on cold, snowy days, you just have to indulge in a guilty pleasure!

Saturday morning started off with the usual ritual of coffee, bodypump and shopping with Tiffany. The latte was perfect, bodypump was tough, and shopping was better than usual – Urban was having a 30% off clearance sale! It was one of those days where you want to walk out of the store wearing everything you bought. While I didn’t do exactly that, I did wear two new pieces out and about on Saturday.
The best buy of the day were these sandals. A 3.5 in wedged black sandal with BOWS? Yes, please! Tiffany actually found these babies but they didn’t fit her, so I got them.
After the epic morning with Tif, I hit the open road with Rob and headed to his mom’s house in Dayton. His older sister just had a birthday last week so we went for the day to celebrate. I love going back to see Rob’s family, especially since I live so far away from mine. His mom and brother cooked an amazing dinner which was followed up by the most delicious red velvet cake I have ever eaten.
Before heading back to Columbus, Rob and I met up with my best friend Katie, who I have known for 17 years! Her boyfriend is in the Navy and was home from deployment, so it was nice to catch up with them, even though we only saw each other for about half an hour. Rob drove us home and I passed out for the car ride. It was glorious.
Today I woke up surprisingly NOT sore from bodypump, so I kicked my own ass at the gym today. I can already feel the muscle soreness creeping in and I’m happy! I’m off to finish a big paper about malaria – it’s actually super interesting!

It’s inevitable that once the weather warms up, girls all across the country are pushing aside their boots and closed toed shoes for flip flops and strappy sandals.
It is also inevitable that their feet are disgusting from being cooped up in boots all winter long.
I mean, if going to the salon and getting your feet scrubbed isn’t your thing (I don’t understand) just swipe on a quick coat of polish or at the very least make sure there’s no visible dirt, and it’s all good. I just seriously can’t look at another set of gross toes.
So after doing some homework, I made a quick trip to the B&N for reading material and spent the rest of the afternoon catching up on The Pioneer Woman’s love story and getting pampered in the massage chair.
