New sandals, pink nails and a bag of fruit snacks with NO yellows or oranges!

Weekend in review

Saturday morning started off with the usual ritual of coffee, bodypump and shopping with Tiffany. The latte was perfect, bodypump was tough, and shopping was better than usual – Urban was having a 30% off clearance sale! It was one of those days where you want to walk out of the store wearing everything you bought. While I didn’t do exactly that, I did wear two new pieces out and about on Saturday.

  

 

The best buy of the day were these sandals. A 3.5 in wedged black sandal with BOWS? Yes, please! Tiffany actually found these babies but they didn’t fit her, so I got them.

After the epic morning with Tif, I hit the open road with Rob and headed to his mom’s house in Dayton. His older sister just had a birthday last week so we went for the day to celebrate. I love going back to see Rob’s family, especially since I live so far away from mine. His mom and brother cooked an amazing dinner which was followed up by the most delicious red velvet cake I have ever eaten.

Before heading back to Columbus, Rob and I met up with my best friend Katie, who I have known for 17 years! Her boyfriend is in the Navy and was home from deployment, so it was nice to catch up with them, even though we only saw each other for about half an hour. Rob drove us home and I passed out for the car ride. It was glorious.

Today I woke up surprisingly NOT sore from bodypump, so I kicked my own ass at the gym today. I can already feel the muscle soreness creeping in and I’m happy! I’m off to finish a big paper about malaria – it’s actually super interesting!

Santa, I will take any of these …

The weather here in Florida has me thinking of Spring already  ….

     

However, these are much more season appropriate.

But of course, nothing matches the Holy Grail …

Wouldn’t those make the PERFECT NYE shoes? A girl can dream I suppose!

The rest of the day was spent lounging around the house, going for a jog and drinking coffee. A good amount of Thanksgiving leftovers were consumed too! Tonight I’m headed up to Tampa to see some of my girlfriends who go to UT. Well, I’m off to get ready!
